20:35:30 <bay|AX|Bushi> Midori: When I was a college student, I wanted to be a manga artist, but to earn money, I drew illustrations.

20:35:54 <bay|AX|Bushi> M: A publisher had seen my illustrations and gave me my first job

20:36:53 <bay|AX|Bushi> A: I like to play RPGS like D&D, so I draw my characters and monsters, so I love drawing, therefore I become an Illustrator

20:38:33 <bay|AX|Bushi> M: I enjoy the fact that I don't have to put in as much of my personal emotions... on a project that is given to me as a project, so I don't get too deeply emotional about it
20:38:54 <bay|AX|Bushi> A: In my case, as I said, i like to play card games and rpgs, so .... (missed... gets cards?) so it's a big merit for me

20:40:04 <bay|AX|Bushi> M: I guess the hardest part is each project has a different deadline and (such) and so my daily routine gets out of whack and my body starts breaking down and I get sick.

20:40:47 <bay|AX|Bushi> A; There are so many good illustrators threatening me, they might take my job, so many young illustrators are motivated and skillful and they give me a hard time

20:44:14 <bay|AX|Bushi> M: So before this illustration, I had thought the card game was for kids but once I was assigned to this, I thought that adults can enjoy this too, so it changed my view on how it can be designeed

20:45:13 <bay|AX|Bushi> M: I incorporated like...traditional asian elements... and then wanted to have something that would appeal globally
