18:49:49 <bay|NYCC|Kodansha> M: it's true that it's very competitive to be published in japan, but compared to the past, the entrance way is expanding, so i don't think it's as difficult as before, but once you become one, it's very hard to continue and make a living as one
18:49:55 <bay|NYCC|Kodansha> how much time do you spend on your manga each week?
18:50:19 <bay|NYCC|Kodansha> M: per week, about 6 days a week, and 1 day, i spent about 17 hours...
18:50:40 <bay|NYCC|Kodansha> so in order to come here, i had to write a story in advance, so i worked 18-19 hours a day
18:51:11 <bay|NYCC|Kodansha> when we met in 2008, you were working on fairy tail as a weekly and mh orage as a monthly, how did you find time to work on both?

18:52:15 <bay|NYCC|Kodansha> M: yes, i have been a big fan of the original game, and it has a particular word that i have picked as a manga and it went asking for the rights and it happened to be successful

18:52:47 <bay|NYCC|Kodansha> so the american players are so strong, i can't count how frequently my head got blown off, also assassin creed
18:53:14 <bay|NYCC|Kodansha> moving on to the anime, funimation is debuting the dub of the show for the first time, what expectation do you have for the dub? how do you expect the market will react to it?
18:54:22 <bay|NYCC|Kodansha> M: most significant version betwene the versions is the cast members, the japanes ecast members are passionate people and they match thier image, i of course have high expectations for the american version as well, (lost)
18:54:59 <bay|NYCC|Kodansha> (want to meet voice actors, hope they match the characters but it's okay if it doesn't match since it will be the america version ) of course natsu shouts a lot, so i'm worried about the voice actor losing his voice

18:55:37 <bay|NYCC|Kodansha> M: Well, i want to put you in dallas, and of course, new york is the forefront of popculture, so of course just looking at the city scape inspires me

19:07:04 <bay|NYCC|Kodansha> A: So this is rather technical, but the magazine that i do at the time, the genre was rare, so they asked me to come up with a wastern name with ajapanese element, and of course natsu comes after haru, so that was a sequence there, but inmy project there is also an aki character and mafuyu, so i don't know what's going to come next
